Character Rentals

With our basic character rental, we offer one of our characters from Red Monster, Explorer Girl, Explorer Boy, Spiderman, Purple Dinosaur, Unique Pink Girl, Purple Kangaroo, Spongeman to visit your birthday party for approximately 1/2 hour.

This visit includes birthday music throughout, a hostess to guide you with individual and group photos, a photo with the birthday child and their cake as you sing, "Happy Birthday" and time to sit with the birthday child as they open gifts.

Deluxe Character Rental Packages

Make your child's party memorable! TutuSweet has many characters available to visit your child on their birthday! Click on name for photo & pricing along with other party information.

Parties include the character chosen, filled loot bags in matching character when possible, games, supplies needed, hostess, matching character music when possible throughout, birthday gift for the birthday child, personalized card, prizes for all children for all games.
Each party is for 8 children, additional children can be added for $9.99 + GST each to cover the cost of game supplies, prizes and filled loot bag.

General Character Information

TutuSweet tries to make your child have the best party ever! By inviting their favorite character it is sure to be memorable.

The character rented will enter birthday music that plays throughout the party.

If you have a small home, we ask that you clear at least a 10x10 foot area, clear of toys and furniture so that the character will have room to move around with the children and for the Deluxe Character Rental Package, to ensure that there is room to play our games.

For the Deluxe Character Rental, we entertain the children to make as little work as possible for you. You do not need to be present, but are more than welcome to watch or take pictures. Our Deluxe package includes games and prizes for not only the winner of the games, but all 8 of the children that keep with the party theme so no one is left out.

Character rentals are not booked more than one month in advance for birthday parties. For corporate parties, we suggest booking two months in advance.
Our characters do not wear their feet outdoors because we do not want to dirty your home. Depending on the weather, outside your door or inside your entrance, the character will remove the outdoor shoes and put on their character feet.

We highly recommend that you book the character rental at least 1/2 hour after your party has started to ensure that late guests will not miss out on your visit and at least 1/2 hour before your party ends so that there is time to open gifts after the character leaves.

We also suggest that if you are feeding lunch/dinner to your party guests, that you do that BEFORE the character arrives. This way the children will have already eaten and you can take photos of the character with the birthday child and their cake. We do ask that you ensure that the children's hands are clean if they are going to hug/hold hands with our characters.

Unfortunately, there are a few children that are afraid of our characters. If there are children that are afraid, we "tone down" the character and will stay in the opposite side of the room playing with the other children. The hostess will not "push" the character on children and highly recommends that parents do not either. The hostess will ask a few times throughout the party if they would like to take part in games or come closer. If the children are afraid and you prefer the character to leave, no refund will be given.

Bookings more than 1 week in advance require a $50.00 deposit that is non-refundable with the balance of payment PAID IN FULL one week before the party is booked.

Bookings 1 week in advance or less requires FULL payment upon booking.

CANCELLATIONS-We ask that you cancel as soon as possible as we can easily fill your spot. There is a $50 cancellation fee for more than 24 hours notice. There is a $150 cancellation fee for less than 24 hours.

We will ask the children to be kind to our characters and if there are children that are aggressive after repeated requests to be kind with the characters, the character will leave and NO REFUND will be given.
